And it begins...
I was supposed to start this blog a long time ago, but it didn't feel right until now, but really it's because we got a new computer. Its been almost one year since I arrived in Paris! Crazy to think to about...
I have had some lows, but mostly highs over the past 9 months. I learned very quickly some basic things like walk with your head down or risk stepping in a landmine of dog shit. I've learned that a glass of wine is cheaper than a coke, so I clearly order the wine, obviously because its the cheaper option. I've learned that Eiffel Tower is truly magnificent, and I think that every time I see it(which is pretty often), however, I really don't need to see Mona Lisa's face ever again. I've found that trying to learn another language isn't easy...takes time and patience, but I'm happy to admit I can hold a great conversation with a 5 year old. I've realized that cheese really makes me happy and I thought that Wisconsin had the good stuff, I was wrong...its here in France and its making me fat. Thanks to Fred and our many friends here in Paris, I've been able to see and do many wonderful things. I'm lucky to have this experience and I figured I might as well write about it since babysitting and wine drinking don't take up all of my time:)
Stay tuned....I promise good stuff to come!
Bisous xx
